The music criticism and communication laboratory “Tell me Chigiana”, created more than ten years ago to accompany the experience of the Chigiana International Festival with storytelling through writing, multimedia projects, meetings with artists and figures from cultural criticism and journalism, continues its path by welcoming young trainees who already have a basic background in communication (master’s degree in communication or PhD in musicological disciplines, minimum technical and professional experience), willing to test their skills by directly experiencing the planning and development of the activities of one of the most relevant Italian initiatives in the field of cultural production.
Tell me Chigiana is an intensive experience lasting over two weeks in which selected candidates, supervised by a tutor, will directly test their skills by covering the Festival’s activities and concerts through meetings, texts, photographs, videos, and interviews with teachers, students and all the protagonists of Chigiana’s cultural life.
The relationship between content and media formats, principles of audience development and the production of a digital report will be among the main topics of a programme that allows participants to fully understand theory through practice.
The dates on which the workshop will take place are to be defined.
