The Honorary Board of the Accademia Chigiana is a way to recognise those who have contributed to the growth and prestige of the academy, not only through financial support, but also through giving time, energy and creativity to help the Chigiana realise its mission. Invitation to the Honorary Board is extended by the President of the Fondazione Accademia Musicale Chigiana.  Members are chosen from the following categories:

1. Maestri Chigiani instructors and former students;
2. Celebrities and notable persons (from music, entertainment and sport) that actively promote the Accademia
3. Private donors and members of the IN VERTICE program
4. Public and private non-profits and other entities that contribute with services and/or financial resources
5. Associations, Service Clubs and other supporters who contribute with services and/or financial resources.
