Courtesy is a polyvalent term in the artistic language and indicates the making available of a work or a space for enjoyment but also for its trading.
The exhibition is based on the relationship of availability and reception between the works and the space that hosts them. One of the purposes of sculpture, according to Fusj, is to redefine and restore both its internal space, as the artist sculpts the void, and the space in which the sculptures are exhibited, re-creating an environment understood as a renewed space for man.
In this dimension, the exhibit support panels left neutral on the walls and directly illuminated take on the role of Visual Silencers of the form resulting from the sculpture. To silence the form, here, is to return it focused in its multiformity. A visual courtesy that generates a new listening through seeing.

FEDERICO FUSJ AKA FUSI (Siena, 1967)
His works are exhibited in artistic and cultural circuits both in Italy and abroad and are present in public and private collections.
Fusj has also introduced the radio medium into artistic practice with the creation of the radiator platform. In 2023, he published the CD work “La scultura che suona” (Sculpture as sound art) in which he manifests a new approach to the practice of sculpture starting from the sound of its own making.
His research manifests the eschatological sense as artistic practice and revolves around a solid formal framework in whose metaphysics sound, space, light, colour and dimensional depth are reflected.
