Since 1932, the Accademia Musicale Chigiana has organized advanced summer courses for young musicians from all over the world, supported by the collaboration of faculty members of international renown.
The educational program is the cornerstone of the Accademia Chigiana’s mission. Its courses are designed for outstanding young talents who seek to achieve the highest levels of musical excellence. Drawing on its long-standing experience in the training of some of the most important musicians of the past and present, the Accademia Chigiana continues to serve as a leading international reference point for the education of the masters of tomorrow.
Through a rigorous selection process conducted by its faculty, the Chigiana method identifies the most promising young musicians and guides them toward the highest levels of artistic development. The educational path extends beyond formal instruction, offering students numerous performance opportunities and platforms in which to apply and refine the skills acquired during the courses. Supporting the transition into a professional career is, in fact, one of the defining elements of the Chigiana educational approach.
